Right at Home provide a quality focussed home care service both to private and HSE clients. It supports clients to remain in their own home with support from carers to carry out both personal care and household duties. We do all we can to ensure our clients can enjoy living at home in a safe and supported environment.
Each client will have a personalised care plan developed following a care needs assessment which will be reviewed on a regular basis. We provide services to older people, people with disability and End of Life care.

Purpose of Post:
To support branch offices in the delivery of a quality focussed service that is based on researched and evidence-based practise.
To work with all other staff members and the management team.
Provide clinical knowledge that supports good practise.
Contract type: 16 hours per week, initially for a 12 month fixed term.
Principles Duties and Responsibilities
Practise role of staff nurse according to the Code of Professional Conduct as laid down by Nursing Midwifery Board Ireland and Professional Clinical Guidelines.
Work within the Scope of Practise and take measures to develop and maintain the competence necessary for professional practise.
Maintain a high standard of professional behaviour and be accountable for their practise.
Respect and maintain the privacy, dignity, and confidentiality of all their Clients
Work to promote and maintain the good name of Right at Home.
Work as a team member and respect all members of the team.
As Clinical member of the team, work with and support the Commercial Operations manager and Area managers in the development and expansion of Right at Home business.
Support Senior management and participate in weekly meetings providing all information requested i.e. KPIs.
Develop and review Standard Operating Procedures in line with best practise.
Provide ongoing training for Standard Operating procedures.
Review annual competency assessments in consultation with Area Managers and provide and develop suitable training programmes as identified within the competency assessments.
Support Area Managers with the management of difficult cases.
Undertake home visits with Area Managers when the need is identified.
Undertake clinical audits of care plans.
Participate and monitor Keep Well Programme
Participate in the Induction of new staff.
Participate in promotion and implementation of infection prevention and control.
Be aware and comply with principles of risk management, health and safety and be responsible for all aspects of clinical governance.
Participate in performance reviews with their line manager, identifying areas for improvement and upskilling.

Qualifications:
Be registered in one of the Divisions of Nursing and Midwifery Board Ireland (NMBI): General Nurse/ Mental Health/Intellectual Disability/Children’s/Public Health Nursing.
Hold a full driving licence and have access to Car.
