The Role
As a Home Care Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the highest standards of care for our clients while supporting and guiding our care team in the community.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting care supervision visits in clients’ homes
Completing risk assessments to ensure safe working environments
Maintaining accurate supervision and compliance records
Participating in care activities as part of the supervision process
Supporting, mentoring and supervising care staff to deliver best-practice care
Using a person-centred approach in all aspects of care delivery
Liaising with healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective care plans
Qualifications & Experience
QQI/FETAC Level 5 Major Award in Healthcare Support (or equivalent)
QQI Level 6 in Supervision (or equivalent)
Minimum 1 year’s experience working as a Care Assistant
Previous supervisory experience desirable (home care experience an advantage, but not essential)
Strong computer and administrative skills desirable
Access to transport is essential
