Right at Home South Dublin & Kildare, one of Ireland’s leading home-care agencies, is growing our team in Newbridge and Kildare Town.
We’re looking for kind, reliable carers who want to make a real difference helping older people live comfortably and independently in their own homes.
Whether you’re an experienced carer or just starting out with your QQI Level 5 Care Skills and Care of the Older Person, we’d love to hear from you. We have full-time and part-time hours available, and both drivers and walkers are welcome.
Please note: We do not provide or sponsor employment visas. Applicants must already be legally entitled to work in Ireland, currently residing in Ireland, and hold a valid visa (if applicable).

What You’ll Do
You’ll help clients maintain their independence and dignity by:
Assisting with personal care such as washing, dressing, and grooming
Helping with light household duties and meal preparation
Offering companionship and emotional support
Encouraging social and community activities — walks, shopping, appointments
Providing mobility assistance where needed
Reporting any health concerns to our Clinical Nurse Team

What You’ll Need
Minimum 2 QQI Level 5 modules – Care Skills and Care of the Older Person (Essential)
At least 12 months’ experience in care (Desirable)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable, compassionate, and proactive approach
Patient Moving & Handling certificate (Desirable — we can help you obtain it)
Own transport is an advantage but not required
